If you are reading this then the chances are you have been sent a link to have a sneak peak at the (VERY) rough beta test of the relaunch of GrappleZone.Com
There was an idea, formed about 3 years ago, where I could set up a one stop shop for UK wrestling fans and promotions to plug themselves and cover events up and down the UK, as well as providing fans with up to date news on what was happening state side. It has always been my intention to offer this service for FREE for anyone that wanted to use it.
As I said, this was the concept when I initially set up this website, and I intended to run it as well honor my commitments as Wrestling Sub Editor for both Fighters and Combat magazines (at the time the biggest fight sports and martial arts mag's respectivley in the UK)
Those plans kept getting put on hold, mainly through 'transitions' going on with the mag's and the continual promise that they would be revamping their own websites to allow me to offer this same service to you, the wrestling fans at large.
Time has passed and those promissed plans have still failed to materialize and so I have broken away from the magazines, as well as The Martial Arts Show Live (where I ran the central / autograph stand for several years), to revamp this site and make good on my initial plans.
I will be looking for genuine fans across the land to have their own blog space on here to report back on shows they attend in their local area and put their own views forward on the state of wrestling in general. Also I am offering the opportunity for regional promoters to upload their own posters or plug their own shows for FREE so that local fans across the land can find a one-stop spot to check out what's happening near them.
